77th Ogawa Town Tanabata Festival

Tanabata Festival in Ogawa Town, the hometown of washi paper
One of Ogawa Town's biggest events attracting about 100,000 visitors over two days. Bamboo decorations made using the local specialty, washi paper, color the streets. There are plenty of events such as food stalls and Ogawa Festival performances. Some bamboo decorations are illuminated at night, allowing for enjoyment throughout the day.
