Goro Kondo Exhibition Together with Contemporary Artists at COCONO Art Place

Goro Kondo, born in Ono, is an artist who pursues the depiction of the inner aspects of objects and people using a large amount of paint to create a heavy-textured surface. By staying in China and France and studying Eastern and Western art, he acquired a rich knowledge and skills and established a unique painting style. This exhibition primarily showcases works depicting the Middle East and shrines that Kondo visited. It also features works by contemporary artists such as Taro Okamoto and Tadahiro Ono, providing an introduction to the diverse expressions in the Japanese art world at that time.
