The grand event 'Aioi Péron Festival' announces the arrival of early summer in the Harima region! The entire town gets excited over Péron. On Saturday, as a pre-festival event, a fireworks festival with about 5,000 fireworks will take place, bustling with many food stalls. On Sunday, a Péron rowing race with nearly 100 years of history will be held, featuring a parade with brass bands, Péron folk dance, country dance, and various stage performances including traditional taiko drums, Chinese lion dance, and dance.
