Miyajima Odori no Yube

Nenbutsu Odori danced on Miyajima since the Sengoku period
Miyajima Odori is a dance that originated from the Nenbutsu Odori performed on Miyajima during the Sengoku period. The "Miyajima Odori no Yube" is an event held every summer where people can enjoy Miyajima Odori. Anyone can participate in the dance. It features a very slow tempo and elegant movements, and members of the Miyajima Performing Arts Preservation Association will demonstrate as models, so it's no problem if you haven't mastered the dance yet. Why not join in and experience the sense of unity? Of course, you can enjoy just watching as well.
