Moss phlox grown by Kunida Grandma
A flower field that was diligently planted by 'Kanae Kunida', who has lived in this area since around 1961. Every year, around mid-April, delicate moss phlox in white, pink, and pale purple blooms splendidly across the vast grounds. It is a beauty that resembles a carpet laid out all over the area. Stepping in, the flower field filled with sweet fragrance has become a famous spot that attracts many tourists during the blooming season. In 1992, it received the 'Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award,' and in 1996, it won the 'Prime Minister's Award.'
