Golden Week "Ukai Demonstration"

The opening of "Gifu Nagaragawa Ukai" is approaching on May 11! At the Nagaragawa Ukai Museum, before the opening, you can hear various stories related to ukai, such as the costumes and history of the fishers and the characteristics of the cormorants, as well as watch a recreation of ukai using a tank. Don't miss the rare moment when the cormorant catches a fish underwater! Reservations are not accepted. Due to expected congestion during the Golden Week period, numbered tickets will be distributed 30 minutes before the start time. The capacity is 20 seated and 20 standing for a total of 40 people.

Note

No events will be held from April 29 (Tuesday holiday) to May 3 (Saturday). On April 26 (Saturday) and April 28 (Monday), there will be one session from 13:30 to 14:00. On April 27 (Sunday), May 4 (Sunday), May 5 (Monday holiday), and May 6 (Tuesday holiday), there will be two sessions: the first from 13:00 to 13:30 and the second from 14:00 to 14:30. Numbered tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis starting 30 minutes before each session.
