Enjoy a new rice ball party, butoh dance performance, music, and DVD screening at the 200-year-old traditional house Kohokutei, the birthplace of the father of Japanese modern dance, Baku Ishii, in Mitsu Town. There will also be a lecture and throat singing performance by Fuyuki Yamakawa. Handmade rice balls and sweets will be served. ■ Note Nearby are the Baku Ishii Memorial Hall and Mori Onsen.
