Akan Lake Ainu Kotan Tradition and Innovation Exhibition #4

Akan Lake Ainu Kotan, located in the Kushiro area of eastern Hokkaido. Ainu and Japanese from other regions have settled primarily in the southeastern region, mixing their traditional cultures and evolving into a unique culture. In this fourth exhibition, we will explore Akan Lake Ainu Kotan through two themes: "Tradition," representing the history that has been passed down continuously but is not recorded in literature or film, and "Innovation," representing the new culture that is currently being created. ■Notes The event dates follow Upopoy's schedule.
