Shiratori Shrine Summer Festival

The traditional Summer Festival of Shiratori Shrine, dedicated to Yamato Takeru no Mikoto, Futaji Irihime no Mikoto, and Tachibana Hime no Mikoto. On the day of the event, from 16:00, a Chawa (wicker ring) passing ceremony will take place in front of the main shrine, and at 20:00, a purification ritual at the sacred well will be held in the western square in front of the shrine. The climax will feature a fireworks display.
