Wakayama Castle Cherry Blossom Festival

Wakayama Castle Park, with approximately 450 cherry blossoms in full bloom, is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot that the city of Wakayama takes pride in. During the period, about 100 lanterns and 400 paper lanterns are illuminated, allowing visitors to enjoy hanami under the night cherry blossoms lit by these lights. The blooming status will be posted on the official Wakayama Castle Instagram, so be sure to check it from the TOP 'Castle Insta' on the Wakayama Castle website. The 'Wakayama Castle ~ Corridor of Light ~' will be held during the cherry blossom festival period! A light display themed on 'cherry blossoms' will take place.
