[Cherry Blossom Viewing] Sendai Horikawa Park

Designed with the theme of 'Community Forest', this is the largest waterside park in Tokyo, extending 3.7 km and covering an area of 10.4 ha. It features seven distinct areas such as the Touching Forest, Fruit Forest, Science Forest, and Parent-Child Forest, as well as a cherry blossom avenue. It offers beautiful views throughout the seasons, from spring cherry blossoms and new leaves to summer and autumn fruits and foliage. Additionally, the park includes ponds, waterside facilities for playing in the river, ceramic walls, and sculptures, blending rich nature and culture, making it a perfect park for leisurely strolls under the greenery. The cherry blossom avenue along the river is magnificent.
