[Cherry Blossoms - Peak Bloom] Wako Forest Park

Wako Forest Park, located 1.5 km south of Wako-shi Station, is part of the former 'Camp Asaka' site that was requisitioned by the U.S. military in 1945. The park was planned to ensure a comfortable living environment and to create a beautiful urban landscape. It features multipurpose squares, sports and recreation areas, and serves as a wide-area evacuation site. In spring, the cherry blossoms in the park bloom all at once, making it a famous cherry blossom spot. Let's enjoy spring while taking a walk.
