The annual festival held once a year, coinciding with the mountain opening of Ooyama Shrine (Usa Shrine Inner Sanctuary). Mikoshi Mountain, where Ooyama Shrine is located, is said to be the place where the deity Hime-no-Okami descended upon the rocky altar. The deity of the festival is Hachiman Daigongen, Hime-no-Okami, and Empress Jingu. After the ceremony, mochi throwing takes place, creating a lively atmosphere every year.
