R. Strauss: Opera 'Ariadne auf Naxos' (Concert version)

An innovative opera where tragedy and comedy intertwine!
The stage is 18th century Vienna. An opera is about to be performed at the residence of a wealthy count. In the midst of this, the count insists on having both an opera (tragedy) and a farce (comedy) performed simultaneously... This work depicts the chaos before the opera starts and the performance itself. Enjoy the innovative opera where tragedy and comedy intertwine, performed by 15 singers led by Maestro Ryuichi Numajiri, who is active both domestically and internationally, and by the Shizuoka Festival Orchestra, formed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the hall. Admission is not allowed for preschool children.
