In January 1955, Mr. Bunji Saito (1906-66), who was involved in social activities in the hairdressing industry in Takaoka City, produced a display of calligraphy by five notable figures in the city: Mr. Kenzo Arai, Mr. Tarohei Kizu VI, Mr. Denemon Sugano VII, Mr. Shinichiro Minami, and Mr. Dokuun Yotsutani.
