Mount Fuji Susono Awa Odori

Since incorporating Awa Odori into the 'shopping street festival' aimed at revitalizing the shopping district 43 years ago in 1981, the 'Mount Fuji Susono Awa Odori' has become a summer tradition in Susono. In recent years, not only Awa Odori but also kids' dance, hula dance, and unicycle circles from the community have collaborated, resulting in a broader dance event that transcends the framework of Awa Odori. It will be a day filled with lively performances by gorgeous dancers in sync with the sounds of bells, drums, and flutes.
