Draped in Beauty - Centered on the Asanaga Textile Collection

Draped in beauty - Loving beautiful things and wearing them is something everyone may aspire to. In 2020, the museum received a donation of works from textile artists such as Kamakura Yotaro, Shimura Fukumi, and Junki Tsuchiya from Yoshiko Asanaga, a kimono enthusiast. This exhibition introduces craftworks spun from the rich nature of the four seasons, or from stories, centered around the Asanaga Collection.

Closed on Mondays (if Monday is a holiday, the following weekday). Admission to exhibition rooms is until 30 minutes before closing. On the third Friday of May, during the special exhibition period, the museum will be open until 20:00.
