Touring the Satoyama of Hirotsu
Several dozen varieties of mountain cherry blossoms, such as Yaekanzan, Higanzakura, and Ooyamazakura, are planted, and they bloom beautifully. At the summit of Takashiro Mountain, there are a hundred cherry blossom poem monuments where visitors can enjoy a walk while appreciating the poems, with views of Mt. Togakushi and Mt. Asama. During the season, the 'Shirane Aoi', which only blooms in Ikeda Town, attracts many people. Late April is particularly recommended.
