Oiso Garden Academy Children's Tea Ceremony Class (3 sessions course)

A tea ceremony experience workshop. It provides thorough and careful instruction on basic etiquette, including how to greet, drink tea, and enjoy sweets. The instructor is a member of the Oiso Town Tea Ceremony Association. Items to bring include white socks and either a belt or an obi (to drape the fukusa). The target audience is elementary school students (family members can observe). Pre-registration by phone is required. Applications are accepted starting from 7/8 (Tuesday). Please call the Oiso Shiroyama Park Management Office (Reception hours: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM). The capacity is 10 people (those who can attend all three days). Acceptance is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fee

A fee of 3,000 yen for tea will be collected on the first day (7/26).

On weekends and holidays, it costs 300 yen for the first hour, and an additional 150 yen for every subsequent 30 minutes. Free on weekdays. Usage hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

About 3 minutes from the Nishi-Shonai Bypass Oiso Nishi IC / about 7 minutes from the Odawara-Atsugi Road Oiso IC. Immediately at the Route 1 Shiroyama Park intersection.
