The festival of Aso Shrine where Ondo songs are offered
An old festival held every year at Aso Shrine (Ichinomiya Town) to pray for bountiful harvests. The highlight of this festival is the procession of Unari. The Unari procession, dressed in white garments, advances while carrying a food offering on their heads, and elegant rice field songs flow over the lush fields. A summer tradition of Ichinomiya.
