Baikoan Collection: Bijin-ga of Snow, Moon, and Flowers

"Bijin-e," which gained popularity through ukiyo-e in the Edo period, developed into "Bijin-ga" after the Meiji period. Bijin-ga reached its golden age during the Taisho era and continues to captivate people's hearts today. In this exhibition, we have carefully selected works from the "Baikoan Collection," one of Japan's leading Bijin-ga collections, showcasing various artists such as Uemura Shoen, Kaburaki Kiyokata, Ito Shinsui, and Takahuku Yumeji, aligned with the changing seasons.

Closed on Mondays (if Monday is a holiday, the following weekday will be closed). Admission to the exhibition hall is until 30 minutes before closing. On the third Friday of the month during the exhibition period, May 16, the museum will be open until 20:00.
