20th Izumo Myth Festival Izumo Bon Odori

The 20th Izumo Myth Festival will feature "Izumo Bon Odori" on August 16 at Kunibiki Central Street, and "Fireworks Festival" on the 23rd at Otsu Kamitsuki Riverside Park. "Izumo Bon Odori" is a creative Bon Odori dance that combines lyrics representing the characteristics of each region solicited from citizens, based on the Bon Odori passed down within the city. More than 20 groups participate every year, and about 400 people will march together along Kunibiki Central Street.
