Special Exhibition: Oobi and Indigo

Ancient cloth 'Oobi' made from kozo bark fiber transmitted only in Nakacho, Tokushima Prefecture. Dyeing material 'Awa indigo' made from fertile soil carried by the Yoshino River during floods. And 'Awa Ningyo Joruri' developed against the backdrop of Tokushima's richness. Enjoy the traditional culture of Tokushima, designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Asset of the country, with pride nationwide.
