Spring Special Exhibition 'Surnames That Were Not Used in the Edo Period'

It is believed that common people did not have names during the Edo period, but the reality is that they could not be used officially. The exhibition will introduce the ranking of common last names in Ikawara City along with the display of historical documents from the Edo period that show names.
