The Saitobaru Burial Mounds, designated as a Japan Heritage site, has 319 burial mounds spread over a land area of 2.6 km east-west and 4.2 km north-south. The sight of 1 million sunflowers in full bloom over the vast 6.5 ha site is spectacular.
