Special Exhibition 'The Charm of Small Things - Crafts for Dressing and Playing -'

Portable tools and books that are useful in daily life come in small, easy-to-use forms. Additionally, small crafts that enhance daily life, such as the household tools and armor accompanying the dolls for the Doll Festival in March and the Boy's Festival in May, as well as local toys that serve as charms, have been beloved across eras. This exhibition introduces collected items such as accessories and toys that gain functionality and charm by being small, under the three themes of 'There is a reason for being small,' 'Small but feels real,' and 'Small is cute.'
