The year 2025 (Reiwa 7) marks the 80th anniversary since the end of World War II in 1945. Through the introduction of related materials centered on the museum's collection, this exhibition considers how wars from the Boshin War to World War II (the Asia-Pacific War) affected the region of Minamisoma.

The museum is closed every Monday; however, it will be open on August 11 (Monday, holiday), September 15 (Monday, holiday), October 13 (Monday, holiday), and November 3 (Monday, holiday). It will be closed on August 12 (Tuesday), September 16 (Tuesday), and October 14 (Tuesday). The last admission is until 16:00.
