A large kite battle where 24-tatami-sized kites are flown from both banks of the Nakano River, intertwined in the air, dropped into the river, and pulled until the opponent's kite string breaks. There are 6 teams on the eastern side and 7 teams on the western side, and the large kites soar into the sky and engage in battle. *The kite battle photo contest usually held annually is undecided for this year, and the North Wind Festival has been canceled.
