Japan Peking Opera Arts Festival 2025

An annual event featuring a Peking Opera performance presented by Japanese and Chinese residents studying Peking Opera in Japan, along with the Setagaya Children's Peking Opera Troupe. Each performance includes a Peking Opera lecture by Zhang Wumei, making it easy for beginners to understand the highlights of various classic Peking Opera pieces. This year, there will also be a discussion featuring Professor Tohru Kato, a representative of Japan's Peking Opera scene, and Yuta Ishiyama, the only Japanese (foreign) Peking Opera actor recognized in China, where they will passionately talk about the future of Peking Opera! ■Notes All seats are reserved, Japanese subtitles provided, e-ticket discounts available.
