Recorder player Rei Inoue invites the audience to a recital with the soft and elegant sound of harpsichordist Takeshi Ueba. The charm of early music is richly recreated, centering around the theme of 'Melancholy' with famous pieces from the Renaissance to the High Baroque including Holborne and Dowland to Telemann. The program includes Holborne: Phantom of Melancholy, Dowland: Pavan of Tears, Sweelinck: Variations on 'My Young Life Will Not End', Telemann: Sonatina in A minor TWV 41:a4, among others. ■Notes Reservations are required.
