Enjoy about 60 varieties and more that have continued since the Edo period.
Approximately 750 cherry trees of about 60 varieties are planted throughout the garden. Various types of cherry blossoms bloom in succession, starting with the early-blooming Okanzakura, followed by Someiyoshino, and late-blooming Satozakura.
Jindai Botanical Garden
From the Chofu IC on the Chuo Expressway, head towards Shinjuku and follow the Koshu Kaido for about 10 minutes.
From the north exit of Chofu Station on the Keio Line, take a bus to Mitaka or Kichijoji and get off at 'Jindai Botanical Garden-mae'.

- Closed every Monday (if Monday is a national holiday or substitute holiday, the following day is closed). The event dates are a guideline for the blooming period, which may vary due to weather conditions. The usual blooming period is from mid-March to late April. Last admission is until 16:00.

- Admission fee: General 500 yen, 65 years and older 250 yen, Middle school students 200 yen. *Elementary school students and middle school students residing or studying in Tokyo are free.

- Regular car: 300 yen for the first hour, and 100 yen for every additional 20 minutes.
