Omura Hanashoubu Festival

In line with the blooming of Hanashoubu from late May to early June, the Hanashoubu Festival is held at Omura Park, which has been selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Historical Parks. Enjoy events such as the sale of local specialties and the performance of traditional arts. The largest Hanashoubu garden in Kyushu, utilizing the moat of the ruins of Kujima Castle, once the residence of the Omura feudal lord, boasts approximately 300,000 Hanashoubu flowers of Edo, Higo, and Ise types, harmonizing beautifully with the stone walls of the castle ruins and the white walls of the Itashiki Yagura, creating a picturesque view.

Cancelled in case of rain. Use park parking lots around the park besides the temporary parking lot. On the day of the festival, Omura Park No. 4 parking lot (near Itashiki Yagura) will be a parking area for related parties all day.
