From Jomon to modern times, a collection of Echizen and Wakasa ceramics
Ceramics were born in the Jomon period and have supported people's lives and enriched their lifestyles while greatly changing their form according to times, regions, and uses. This exhibition displays ceramics unearthed from archaeological sites throughout the prefecture and ceramics that have been cherished and handed down across generations, introducing the history and culture of ceramics in Fukui Prefecture.
