Collection Exhibition Phase 1 Special Feature: The World of Mantei Goro's Watercolors

The Iwate Prefectural Museum of Art holds seasonal exhibitions four times a year while showcasing its collection. The first phase special feature "The World of Mantei Goro's Watercolors" will present all 102 watercolor works by Mantei from the museum's collection, divided into two parts. Known for his avant-garde oil paintings, Mantei also produced numerous watercolors, creating compelling works with vibrant colors. Come and enjoy the world of watercolors filled with bright colors and light and discover a new side of Mantei.

Closed on Mondays (however, if Monday is a holiday or compensatory holiday, the museum will be open and closed on the following weekday), May 7. Open on April 28 and May 5. Admission until 17:30.
