Miyakonojo Mochio Cherry Blossom Festival

The largest cherry blossom festival in Miyakonojo City! A tunnel of 2,600 cherry trees welcomes you. During the cherry blossom season, there is night illumination, allowing you to enjoy the cherry blossoms at night. During the festival period, local traditional performances and stage events are held lively, attracting many visitors.

Main events are on March 29 and March 30 (with stage events). Along with the cherry blossoms blooming, there will be night illumination, food stalls, and temporary parking. From 3/19 to 4/13, traffic regulations will be in place based on the blooming conditions.
