79th Daisen Summer Mountain Opening Festival
A river of flames for just one day - Daisen Summer Mountain Opening Festival
During the eve festival, starting around 19:30, people will form a procession holding torches ignited from the sacred fire near the Daisen Shrine, creating a visual experience akin to a river of flames, immersing everyone in a mystical world. The next day, a summit festival ritual (praying for the mountain's safety and the safety of climbers) will be conducted starting at 10:00 at the summit of Daisen (Misen), bustling with many climbers. This marks the start of the summer mountain climbing season.

Take the JR Yonago Station bound for Daisenji, get off at Daisenji bus stop, and walk about 1 minute to the main venue.
