The predecessor of the Gotenyama Lifelong Learning Art Center, the Osaka School of Art, was established in 1924 in Tennoji, Osaka City, and it has been 100 years since. The Gotenyama Lifelong Learning Art Center Activity Committee will hold a workshop where participants can experience Southern painting during the "60th Anniversary Memorial Yano Hashimura Exhibition". Yano Hashimura was active as a Southern painter and was involved in the establishment of the Osaka School of Art. This workshop aims to touch on Southern painting and local history through painting Southern styles and connect to the future. ■Remarks ■Capacity: 15 people ■Application: Starting on May 3, 2025 (Saturday) at 10:00 via phone and at the counter. First-come, first-served basis.
