Satomi Park

Late Mar~Early Apr

The area around Satomi Park is called Kōfudai, which has a historical background as the center of politics and culture in the Shimōsa region. The park was developed as a place for citizens to relax, in memory of a historically significant battlefield. There are about 300 cherry trees in the park, which is known as a cherry blossom spot in Ichikawa. The view overlooking the Edogawa River from the high ground is splendid. There is also a rose garden in the fountain square.
