In 2024, Tagajo City will celebrate its 1300th anniversary. This year's "TAGAJO YOGOTO" will feature a vibrant light display illuminating the ruins of the Tagajo governmental office, along with a fantastical light monument in the Shiromae district. During the weekends, gourmet booths showcasing local food attractions will also be available. Enjoy a wonderful time during this summer's 'Yogoto' (night event) that comes alive with light, sound, and food, while embracing the rich history.
