[Cherry Blossom Peak] Oomori Park

Oomori Park, known as the "Yoshinoyama of Tohoku," is a famous cherry blossom spot. Located on a small hill at an elevation of 120 meters, it offers spectacular views from the main circle where Oomori Castle is said to have existed. The vast grounds also feature moss phlox, which bloom in succession after the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, with 100,000 clumps of moss phlox reaching their peak. This is also of exceptional beauty.
