39th Kitahiroshima Sunflower Festival

The sunflower field in Kitahiroshima Town, Hokkaido, is about the size of five Tokyo Domes. Approximately 2 million sunflowers bloom majestically on one of Japan's largest fields, creating a view reminiscent of a yellow carpet during full bloom. During the sunflower festival, which lasts for about a month, various permanent events such as a sunflower maze and a world sunflower corner by local junior high school students are held, along with various events mainly on weekends.
