39th Hokuryu Town Sunflower Festival

The sunflower field in Hokuryu Town, Hokkaido is approximately 5 times the size of Tokyo Dome. About 2 million sunflowers bloom across one of the largest areas in Japan, creating a breathtaking scene reminiscent of a yellow carpet when in full bloom. Additionally, during the approximately month-long sunflower festival, various events including a sunflower maze and a world sunflower corner run by local junior high school students are held on weekends and special events.
