35th Summer Noh Experience & Appreciation Class

Experience Japan's traditional performing art 'Noh' with your whole body!
A three-day program to experience the traditional Japanese art of 'Noh' through direct interaction with Noh instructors, including discussions, hands-on experiences, and performances. A rare opportunity to touch upon Japan’s ancient spirit and culture on an actual Noh stage. On the first day, you will hear about Noh. On the second day, you will choose between morning or afternoon sessions to have hands-on experience with performing arts, including Shimai, Chanting, Flute, Small Drum, Big Drum, and Taiko. The third day includes the appreciation of the Noh play 'Aoi no Ue' (Shite: Hisashi Uzawa). Anyone from children to adults can participate. ■ Notes The application deadline is July 10 (Thursday), must be received by this date.
