Akihabara Festival

Hand-held fireworks with a height of 7m and 1200 exploding shells
During the day, the young men from six towns in the city (Takaracho, Yamacho, Yamayashiki, Nakashinmachi, Honmachi, Nishimachi) carry the ball boxes and energetically parade through each town while singing long-carry songs. In the evening, they enter the shrine and showcase the magnificent hand-held fireworks. They hold hand-held fireworks that exceed 7 meters in height and launch them while surrounded, as well as take turns launching 200 shells each by the six towns. Be sure to go see this traditional festival.
