Noh Course for Children 2025

During the summer vacation, this course allows you to experience the world of Noh through 5 lessons and a performance. The instructor is Mr. Yamanaka Gashō, a practitioner of the Kanze school of Noh, who is active nationwide based in Sendai (the "Ga" is written with a two-dot "shinnyou" and "牙"). Applications start on July 3 at 10:00 and will close once the capacity is reached. The target age is 4 to 15 years old.

Note

The lessons will be held 5 times between 12:30-13:30, 13:30-14:30, 15:00-16:00, and 16:00-17:00 from August 3 (Sun) to August 10 (Sun), with a special note that on August 3 (Sun) classes will start from 13:30 onwards. The performance is scheduled for August 11 (Mon, holiday) from 15:00 to 16:00.
