What comes to mind when you hear the word 'stone'? This special exhibition features representative rocks and minerals from both inside and outside the Earth, including Fukui's Shakudani stone and Konpeito stone, as well as meteorites and samples collected from space, showcasing what they are made of and how they were formed. From April 24 to May 6, actual fragments from the asteroids Itokawa and Ryugu brought back by the Hayabusa and Hayabusa2 spacecraft will also be on display.
