2nd Yamakuni Film Festival

From March 21 to 23, 2025, the 2nd Yamakuni Film Festival will be held at Koa Yamakuni in Yamakuni Town, Nakatsu City, Oita Prefecture. Six outstanding works selected from 155 submissions and seven commendable works will be screened, along with talk events featuring the creators of the outstanding works. There will also be local tours to experience Yamakuni, and various events including a feast gathering local food and performing arts. Additionally, the new work 'Suplahisupil,' directed by Riosuke Kikuchi, who won the grand prize at the previous Yamakuni Film Festival, will be screened, which is produced mostly with location shoots in Yamakuni Town.
