Reading Play 'Hotarubi II: The Story of Ichiro Kawamoto'

Wishing for a world without nuclear weapons.
80 years after the bombing. Over 120 citizens aged 9 to 81 come together, transcending the boundaries of professional and amateur, to pose the question of what we, the citizens, can do to never repeat war. The story unfolds through reading, illustrations, short poems, music, dance, and choir. At the end of each scene, a short poem by Chieko Kitsu (95 years old bombing survivor) is inserted. Come support this reading play that has also received a message of encouragement from film director Yoji Yamada. Note: Admission is not allowed for preschool children.
