[Autumn Foliage, Peak Viewing] Azusagawa Valley

Azusagawa Valley is located along Route 158 towards Kamikochi, Norikura, and Takayama from Matsumoto IC. In autumn, the trees turn color and cover the valley, delighting the eyes of drivers. The red leaves vividly color even the surface of the dam lake. The giant katsura tree at Hōunzan is also worth seeing. It is a recommended spot for enjoying autumn drives.
