50th Soma Bon Odori Festival
Let's participate in the Soma Bon Odori Festival!
The Soma hometown summer festival "Soma Bon Odori Festival" is held every year on August 13. Participants in matching yukata and costumes dance around the yagura (a raised platform) to the live performance of the Soma folk song "Soma Bon Uta." There are many food stalls at the venue, and numerous visitors come to enjoy the summer festival. It starts with an opening stage event, followed by live performances by winners of the bon song competition, a fan lottery for luxurious prizes, and many other events, including fireworks.
