Nagano Gion Matsuri Float Procession

The festival of 'Yasaka Shrine', which has been passed down as Nagano's Gion Matsuri. In the past, it was counted as one of Japan's three major Gion festivals alongside Kyoto's Yasaka Shrine and Hiroshima's Itsukushima Shrine. The 'Nagano Gion Matsuri' is held on July 13, with the previous evening's festival called 'Yoiyama' taking place the day before. Let's enjoy the traditional summer scenery of Nagano.
